Christmas time

Yes, it is after mid-January and I am just now getting around to posting about my wonderful visit back home to Rochester for Christmas.  I had 2 8-week old puppies from the day I returned to the city until the night I left to go on a week-long trip to Oklahoma, so it has been SO busy!  It is so nice to have a week to catch up, because believe it or not I am headed back to Rochester next Wednesday for my friend's bridal shower that I would NOT miss!
Anyway, now that I got that long excuse for my absence out, I will begin reminiscing about my Christmas. :-)
My packed bags ready to leave for Christmas!
Grammy surprised me and brought these cute little faces to see me the morning I got in.
It had been so long since I had seen this cute little guy!
I love his eyes!!
First night home- caroling at the mall
And then a huge feast at Applebees afterwards! Yummm!
(I ate everyone's celery...this baby makes me LOVE vegetables!)

^ Picture above sent to my husband so he didn't forget all about me. ;-)

It's so fun to be pregnant at the same time as one of my best friends.  Hard to believe when we found out in TX that she was expecting in June that I would only be 14 weeks apart from her!

Our annual girls night- and this is my only picture.  Oops!
We had healthy snacks, including way overdone baked potatoes from my "famous" recipe, and nutella covered strawberries. {not pictured- they didn't last long enough!}
Baby's first stocking- thanks to grammy :-)

Our huge annual Christmas Eve party at the Cammilleri's house!!
It wouldn't be the same without the crowds and the food that just keeps coming and coming.

 Christmas Morning!!
First peek at the stockings!
 Look at all those presents!!

Jazzie the puppy got the first present, so she could wear her Christmas costume the rest of the day!
We did stockings first, and then I went and picked up my husband from the airport
(Thanks to Dad for making sure I didn't end up at the wrong airport....ooooopsss!!)

Yay!! Uncle Peter is here! Let the presents begin!

I saw a sign that said "I know I said baby, all I want for Christmas is you, but there better be presents with photography equipment inside of them on Christmas morning."  Hee hee.
He came through for me and got me some really nice camera stuff!! And lots of other stuff.
He's the best!

 Cute purple Keurig

Creative gifts from Becky and the kids.
If you look closely you see...well, I will just let you look closely. :-)

Me and my love on Christmas Day.
Thanks to the cold I had, I look awful.
Thanks to the scarf I was wearing, at first glance it looks like my husband is choking me.
My annual after-Christmas party was cancelled this year.
Bummer.
Thanks to the snow and the terrible cold I had.
But Peter and I went out and went shopping, found a bookstore, and got coffee in the little shop where we got our wedding pictures done.  It was such a special day for both of us.  It may sound weird, but not having a car we don't run a lot of "errands" like that together, so it was fun to just go places and be together.

On Friday after Christmas we headed to a kitty show with Grammy. Just us King and formerly King girls.  It was so fun! We ate good food, went swimming, shopped at Ross, and just hung out and enjoyed each other. :-)
